A new season is upon us as we have “crossed the line into the
new” following Iran’s first-ever direct attack on Israel.
This is a time and season where heaven will release
strategies upon strategies to His people. But we must in the posture of
receiving (like John).
Knowing this, our heart must be wide open.
Do not be stuck in the past that you cannot think outside
the past.
God does new things in new season. So, we need to open our
hearts, allow God to be God.
As in the book of Daniel, we will receive insights (not
information, not inspiration, both of which you can receive from the world).
Insights can only come from God; need the right posture to receive.
New season demands new strategies – pray to the Lord – grant
me insights beyond insights. I know what I did in the last season. What must I
do or not do in this new season – ask for insights beyond insights. Plead with
the Lord for revelation.
When the Lord knows our hearts are wide open, He will give
us insights beyond insights.
Insights from God are powerful, profound, permanent.
Not only are you coming out of your old season, but you are also entering into a new season.
You will hear things you’ve never heard before; see things
you’ve never seen before; experience things you’ve never experienced before.
But your heart must say YES!
The Spirit of God is speaking to you – this is where you
make it or break it.
If you are able to receive the messages that a new season is
upon you, and new strategies are being revealed to you – that can all happen
only if you can hear the voice of the Spirit.
One skill that will make all the difference for you in this
new season is the ability to hear the Spirit of God.
The strategies of God cannot be obtained from books or
research. They come to us only through revelation (eg Daniel 12; John in
Revelation) – the Word of prophecy.
For you to be able to receive, you need to hear the Spirit
of God.
Throughout the Bible, we see God revealed different, unique
strategies in different circumstances – God never does the same thing again and
again vis-à-vis human beings who are creatures of habit.
God does not work by formulas. He works through revelation.
Every season is different, every strategy is different – cannot copy and paste.
Don’t copy anything from the past. Receive something new,
uniquely for you.
Every one of us has to personally position ourselves to hear
from God.
If you want to succeed and soar in the years ahead, you need
to receive new strategies from the Lord. The ways of the past no longer work.
God has new plans, new strategies; but we need to receive that. Only the Spirit
of God can deposit that into you.
**Invest your time, talent and energy in the Presence of
God.
This is one investment that guarantees your return (not two-fold,
20-fold, 30-fold, but 100-fold). It will never go wrong. You will never regret.
What you receive in the presence of God is precious,
powerful, profound and it has the power to permanently change everything – not just
something; but everything, all things.
You alone with God. He is the Only One with the information.
Go into His presence, welcome His presence, desire His presence, delight
yourself in His presence, dedicate yourself in His presence (this has to be a
new habit)
If you can do that, you will hear of things, you’ve never
heard before. God will reveal strategies upon strategies.
Inquire of the Lord. Not just speaking to God, or asking
things from Him.
Inquiring: Lord, what are Your plans for me; what’s Your
destiny for me; what do You intend to do with my life; how can my life be a
blessing; what do You want me to do with my life now.
When you begin to inquire of the Lord, the Lord will begin
to speak to you personally, and when that happens, everything falls into place.
